About the Center


Croatian Employment Service,  Regional office Zagreb as a part of " Better Perspective of Roma Women in the Labour Market" in cooperation with the City of Zagreb, which has provided space and other partners on the project: Centre for Education, Counselling and Research (CESI), the Association of Roma women in Croatia "Better Future" and Berufsförderungsinstitut Burgenland in Austria opened a center for Counseling, support and information CASI "Romani".  The aim of this Centre is to provide individual tailor-made support to unemployed Roma women in preparation for inclusion in the working world and society.  Trained job coaches work  in CASI "Romani"  which provide  beneficiaries and all other interested women  individual support in preparation for an active independent job search and career development.
Centre CASI "Romani" offers beneficiaries and all other interested women  an opportunity for daily informing on job vacancies, writing applications, CVs and sending them to employers, and provides information on solving everyday issues. Other activities include information and services of individual counseling, group support meetings and various workshops in order to train for independent job search and the inclusion in the labour market.  CASI "Romani" is equipped with computer equipment and office furniture. Also a film and posters will be made that will promote the inclusion of Roma women in the labor market. Through the project we created a guide for successful job search, "How to find a job" that will be available in the center and on the center's website.
